Le Tot These Days

My little baby has itsy feet(!!)....that kick me...hard enough for Daddy to feel. Melt. It is my favorite thing.

I am undeniably pregnant--even strangers would have to be blind not to know.

Le Tot has beaten the living mess out of my ribs. I finally caved and called the doctor because there's a particular part that's up underneath my ribs that has been continuously sensitive and tender for about a week. It doesn't matter where the baby is, so it's not a body part sticking up there. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't an organ about to rupture or something like that, but the doctor said it was probably just a bad bruise and if it was still bothering me in a few days, they would check it out for me.

I got the name and number of the doctor I think I am going to go with when we move and am going to try and put in a call this week. I may have to take a personal day from work to go down there to make sure they can get me in, but I really couldn't care less. School's almost out, and at this point I'd welcome an extra day off (barring sickness, of course).

I may not be able to exercise as often as I would like, but I've been eating pretty well. I've been able to eat a lot of fruit and veggies, I'm doing my best with protein (lots of eggs), and I've been doing well with whole grains and calcium, too. The hard part is water--it feels like I am in the bathroom so often anyway, which is hard as a teacher--and trying to drink enough means I'm out of the classroom every hour!

I think those are all the baby updates I have for the week that I'll want to remember in the future!
