...that the jury's still out.
The doctor asked me some questions and she seemed pleased with my responses. She seems to think things are working fine and she didn't seem concerned about things impacting the TTC process. She did an internal exam and checked my pelvis to check for irregularities with my ovaries, but she said everything was normal. She thought perhaps it was an ovarian cyst, which she said shouldn't cause any problems. She's still sending me for an ultrasound, but I called and I was able to get in on Thursday afternoon, so I won't have to wait too much longer. It cost much less than I thought it would, too. The exam was less than $70 and the ultrasound will be $80....I was concerned that we were going to be shelling out a few hundred dollars. The last time I had to have an ultrasound done (during the blood clot episode) it was not cheap, so this is definitely an answer to prayer. I also got to ask her some of the questions I had when I had my yearly but did not get to ask, so I feel good about that.
I guess we'll just see what happens!
I am contemplating giving us a break after this month, if it doesn't happen. It'll be coming up on the holidays and things are going to be getting hectic and stressful. I haven't decided for sure, but it's something we're talking about. Maybe in January we'll try again.
You have to keep trying! Seriously. Just try not to think about it. You must get a + before us!
