Random Musings...

The past five days have gone SO quickly. With my appointment only a few days away, I have to say that I'm not sure how I'm feeling about things. I've prayed for peace, and I guess God has answered that prayer...at least for the last few days. I suppose that there's nothing more I can do...if I have it, then I have it. The past few months I've tried to go into the TTC process with zero expectations, but this month I feel much more peaceful about things. I'm trying to be more positive and think that this could really be the month (which is ironic, in the face of *potentially* having a disease that causes IF).

Is that going to stop the tears and stress if it DOESN'T happen this month? Probably not. But it makes things easier for the moment.

I do feel like sharing some of my struggles with the Bible study group has been immensely helpful, because I really believe in the power of prayer, and it gives me peace to know that people are praying for me. I've asked the few people that are there to keep these things quiet, because like I've said before, I do NOT want many people IRL to know.

In other random life news, DH won--that's right, WON(!!)--a MacBook Pro at a youth conference a few months ago, and it finally came. In the past, we've been a PC family, but the hubs has been gunning for a Mac for awhile. Now he has one (fo' free!), but it's funny--he's frustrated because he can't just pick it up and figure things out. It's taking him a little while to figure out the differences between that and the PC. It's all good though....and it's actually super helpful for us, because now we can sell his PC, which is not even a year old. That money will definitely be a boost!

In still OTHER random life news, I don't usually have much of a sweet tooth, but watching "Top Chef: Just Desserts" is giving me riDIIIIIculous sugar cravings. I would do some crazy things for some ice cream or spoonful of some really well-made cream cheese frosting right now. You can tell the biggest sweet usually kept in our house is some Creme Brulee rice cakes.

Rice cakes. That's right,I said it. We're now *those* kind of people. ;)
