How Far Along: 37w2d
Baby's Size: Almost six pounds and the size of a watermelon
Weight gain/ loss: The last official count at the doctor's office was 18 lbs
Best Moment This Week: Finishing our Lamaze class!
Symptoms: A little bit of swelling, shortness of breath, and having to go to the bathroom all.the.dang.time....but that's partially due to me trying hard to drink plenty of water! I really haven't had any BH this week. I kind of wish I would so the muscles would be getting a workout.
Labor Signs: Really, none this week except for these sharp, sudden pains I get every once in awhile, where it feels like the baby is headbutting my cervix. That's not fun. Someone has said her doctor told her that meant that she was effacing...but I don't know. It feels like the baby is just using my ribs as a launch point to try and rocket their way out.
Food Cravings/ Aversions: Same as before....although this week, I've wanted something sweet so I've been taking some of my sister's chocolate fudge Poptarts! So nutritious... =p
What I'm Looking Forward To: Feeling like I'm making some progress
Milestones: Finishing Lamaze

I guess this week hasn't been very exciting! Today was supposed to be my next doctor's appointment, but he's out of town, so I don't have to go in.

We decided to wait on the car for as long as we can (see my last post). As long as we can make it as a one-car family, we can put more money away to make a bigger down payment on a car when we DO absolutely have to have a second one. It is frustrating, though....this past Saturday, I had a Scentsy party, and Mr. ABC123 had church at the same time, so we had to work out a carpool situation so we could both get to work. Right now it's not so bad, and we'll save money on gas, but it's a hard adjustment to make when you're used to hopping in your car and just going. This Friday I'm supposed to have another pediatrician consult, but Mr. ABC123 is taking the car out of town on his youth trip (so he can come home on the off chance I go into labor), so I had to finagle my schedule with my parents so that I could borrow their car and go meet the pediatrician.
