Refreshed

Our "babymoon" isn't quite over, but I'm wide awake and hubs is still snoozing away, so I'm a bit bored....

This weekend has been wonderful. We are staying in an absolutely fabulous hotel that is connected to a fancy-schmancy mall and lots of restaurants, so there is a ton of stuff to do here, all within walking distance. We have been able to get out and enjoy the beautiful weekend with very little hassle, and be back to the room in no time to rest. And rest we have....we hung out in bed most of yesterday morning just channel-surfing. We finally got up, headed to lunch and a local mall (BTW- Old Navy's in-store selection of maternity clothes is just terrible. Boo), and came back for a nap. After our nap, we found the little nugget of television gold that is "Extreme Couponing."

We must have sat up in bed watching episode after episode for two to three hours. It blows my MIND! I was so inspired to get more involved in couponing when I saw how much money they saved. Like I said in a previous post, I do clip coupons and subscribe to emails that show me how to match coupons with sales in order to maximize my savings, but I hear about all these people saving mad amounts of money and it frustrates me--I can't figure out what they're doing that I'm not! I don't like to do things if I don't feel like I'm doing them to the fullest, but I picked up some tips that I'm going to try this week. Plus, I think Mr. ABC123 is a little bit more on board with my saving madness now. I'm buying two or three Sunday papers today!

I've also put a little bit more time into developing my Scentsy business. I was able to order some things with my pay card that will help me build my inventory (and I can use for the nursery if I so choose), and touch base with some of my recruits. I didn't have quite as much time to commit to my business this past month with school craziness, and my sales showed it. I still did over $500 worth of business, but that's my lowest month. I only had one party last month because the second one I booked had to reschedule to May. I'm ready to pour a little more energy into it now and get my sales back up into the $1,000 range each month!

Resting this weekend was so nice...I really do feel better. And tomorrow, Mr. ABC123 and I have the second stage of an interview. That helps too--I feel like we're making some progress.
