It's OCTOBER. Put the Christmas decorations away.
I had a good day today. I had breakfast with my family (even my niece and nephew), then I got to go shopping with my mom. I found the most legendary deals ever at Gap--a $60 shirt for $10, argyle socks (originally $7) for $0.58, and a black belt (originally $15) for $4. *Pats self on back.* Then, just to get out of the house, Mr. ABC123 and I went to Target and I got THE cutest outfits for my niece and nephew for Christmas. I loooove getting a headstart on Christmas shopping, because then it doesn't feel nearly as overwhelming. Plus, having an excuse to scour the baby and toddler clothing section felt lovely. =)
We got some good news today. My dad had gotten some money from Grandma's estate and he divided it between the kids, so that was a surprise. It's enough to pay off the rest of my car repairs that we had to charge to the credit card, so that's great news for us! We decided to set aside a bit of it for Christmas shopping, which is why we got started on it tonight.
In some....less good news, my sister got sick again today. AGAIN. It is NOT normal for someone to get sick this often. I am so worried about what the doctor will tell her. She had her bloodwork done and she's supposed to have a follow-up appointment next week. They've got her on a Depo shot (to help control her cysts, which cause her severe pain) and have prescriped her some medication that's supposed to help with her joint pain. I REALLY hope that the doctor is going to tell her how to easily fix her problems, and that nothing serious is wrong. I would really appreciate your prayers for her, pleaseandthankyou.
