Not To Brag, BUT....

my family is pretty darn great.

I have been unbelievably sick over the past four days. I cannot even think about food. Yesterday at work was SO HARD. School starts at 8, and I was debating as to whether or not I would make it to 8:30. There was a point where I had to call my principal to come watch my class so I could go to the bathroom, but at no point did I actually get sick. Instead, I just stood in the stall, shaking and crying. I wanted to go home. I made it through the whole day, and we had a doctor's appointment yesterday. When the doctor asked if I wanted something for the nausea, my husband goes, "YES!" before I could even say a word. Thus the script for Zofran (which, by the way, was not nearly as expensive as I had been told).

When I woke up this morning, I felt terrible yet again, and I simply could not face another day like yesterday. To be honest, I could not even call my principal--DH had to do it. I was afraid I'd either get sick on the phone or just burst into tears, because it's so exhausting to feel this way. So, I took a sick day. My mom had already planned on coming up to clean our carpets because she and my dad have a carpet steamer (this had been planned before they even knew I was pregnant--you know how that high quality apartment carpet is, right?). When I called and told her that I would be here, she was like, "Okay, what can we get you?" She and my husband made a haul to Sam's Club to pick up my Zofran and bought anything and everything that I showed even the slightest interest in. There is such a wide variety of food in my house right now. She and Mr. ABC123 called every five minutes: "Will you eat this? What about this? This?" THEN, they came home, put all the groceries away, CLEANED MY ENTIRE HOUSE, and steam-cleaned the carpets.

I am so spoiled by them, and I know it, and I'm grateful.

Also, we made our very first baby purchase yesterday, which is a little exciting. One of the coworkers I told several weeks ago gave me a coupon where I could buy a package of Pampers (which I want to use anyway) and get a free box of wipes. So, we have a package of Swaddlers and some wipes in our house. For real.
